My younger sister just had her 18th birthday so my parents and I went into the dealership to look for a car to give her for her birthday, the specific reason I wanted to write a Yelp review was because I really liked the fact that while we were waiting for them to deal with two other customers this guy named Irak went and brought us In N Out since he was coming back from his lunch break to give to us while we were waiting. I thought that was a very generous thing to do and that the whole time we were there Irak and his friend Mike took care of us. It was a nice and effective trip to the dealership which really just caught my attention because from my car buying experience i've never had that nice of treatment.
I bought my Mazda CX-9 yesterday at Westcott Mazda and wanted to share my experience for anyone who plans to buy a Mazda. I negotiated the entire deal over the internet with Stefani and she did a marvelous job. Stefani was patient with me and explained every detail about the vehicle, she walked me through the service department to introduce me to the manager, and she even bought my husband and I bottled water from the vending machine! As far as pricing, they beat all the other local Mazda dealerships in San Diego by $250. Car buying has never been this easy. Thank you Westcott Mazda and the staff for helping out so much with the purchase of my new Mazda CX-9.
They were awesome. Joey in financing really was honest and worked wig us. Gino the manager is a great a d sincere guy no sales pressure. Incredible experience. Iroc was so kind and helpful!
I could not have had a better car buying experience. Gino and Joey are truly genuine and extremely helpful. Upon going to Westcott for my roommate's car, I was simply browsing the Mazda RX-8's; a car I have long been wanting to obtain but given my financial circumstances, I was never able to do. When they informed me they had the exact Mazda RX-8 I had been searching for (black, stick shift, en fuego), the first words out of my mouth were, "I'm going to give your a few obstacles to work through with financing." The first words out of Gino's mouth??? "They call me Mr. Obstacle." Now, here I am thinking, 'There is no way in hell this guy is going to get me financing at a decent rate." So, I went for a test drive in the Mazda RX-8 because, let's be real, who would pass up the opportunity to drive such a beautiful piece of machinery? So, off Joey and I go and when we got back, we were met with a fist pumping Gino. He had done it. It was by some sort of miracle he was able to help me get the proper financing at a proper price. Not only did he do that, he was also knowledgeable on how to improve my credit rating. I was amazed at how helpful their whole entire team was. I also did want to mention as a side note, if you're looking at other Mazda dealerships in the area, you may way to consider that the staff at Westcott are not commission based. They receive a salary for their work and would serve no purpose in attempting to be deceiving. I am very grateful to them and would recommend them to any one of my friends. In one word? AMAZING! :)
